Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using LocalShooters. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these terms.
1. Overview
LocalShooters is a marketplace that connects clients with independent local photographers.
- “You”refers to the client using the platform
- “Photographer”refers to independent professionals using LocalShooters
- “We”refers to LocalShooters
Photographers are independent service providers, not employees of LocalShooters.
2. Our Role
LocalShooters acts as a platform that:
- Allows clients to submit requests
- Allows photographers to respond
- Enables clients to choose their preferred photographer
- Facilitates booking and payment
We do not assign photographers automatically — you choose who you work with.
3. Booking Process
A booking is confirmed only when:
- The client selects a photographer
- Payment is completed
- Confirmation is issued
After booking:
- You can communicate directly with your photographer
- The photographer will help plan location, timing, and details
4. Photographer Responsibility
Photographers are responsible for:
- Delivering the service
- Managing the photoshoot
- Providing final edited images
LocalShooters is not responsible for the direct execution of the photoshoot.
5. Lateness & Session Time
- If you arrive late, session time may be reduced
- The photographer is only obligated to cover the booked time
6. Photo Delivery
- Photos are delivered in a private online gallery
- Delivery time depends on the photographer
- LocalShooters is not responsible for how long the gallery remains active
7. Accommodation Requirement
You must provide where you are staying (hotel, Airbnb, villa, etc.).
This information is required because:
- It helps photographers plan logistics
- Punta Cana and other destinations are large
- The meeting point depends on your location
8. Pricing & Additional Costs
Prices are shown upfront before booking.
Additional costs may apply for:
- Location access or permits
- Transportation outside normal area
- Optional add-ons
All additional costs must be clearly communicated before confirmation.
9. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by client:
- More than 14 days → 100% refund (minus fees)
- 14 days or less → partial refund
- 24 hours or no-show → no refund
Rescheduling:
- Allowed once (with notice)
- Subject to photographer availability
10. Weather Policy
Photoshoots may proceed in most weather conditions. If conditions are not suitable, the photographer may suggest a new time or location.
11. Health & Safety
You are responsible for your own safety during the photoshoot. We recommend travel insurance.
12. Copyright & Usage
Photographers retain full ownership of all images.
You May:

You May NOT:
- Resell images
- Use for commercial purposes without permission
Legal Provisions
13. Platform Use
You agree not to: Misuse the platform, attempt to bypass bookings, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
14. Limitation of Liability
LocalShooters is not liable for issues caused by photographers, delays or cancellations outside our control, or indirect or incidental damages. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.
15. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for events outside our control, including weather, government restrictions, travel disruptions, or natural disasters.
16. Disputes
If you have an issue, contact your photographer, then contact us. We will try to resolve issues fairly.
17. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform means you accept the changes.
