1. Overview
LocalShooters is a global marketplace that connects clients with independent photographers.
Photographers are independent contractors, not employees of LocalShooters.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using LocalShooters, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
3. Our Role (Marketplace Model)
LocalShooters acts as a platform that:
- Allows clients to submit requests
- Notifies photographers in the selected destination
- Enables photographers to respond
- Allows clients to choose a photographer
4. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering.
You are responsible for:
- Your account
- Your login credentials
5. Booking Process
A booking is confirmed only when:
- The client selects a photographer
- Payment is completed
- Confirmation is issued
6. Accommodation Requirement
Clients must provide where they are staying (hotel, Airbnb, villa, etc.).
This is required for:
- Logistics
- Meeting point planning
7. Communication System
All initial communication must occur within the platform. After booking, client and photographer may communicate directly.
8. Photographer Responsibility
Photographers are responsible for:
- Executing the photoshoot
- Delivering the images
- Managing client interaction
9. Session Conditions
Late arrival may reduce session time. Duration is based on booked package.
10. Photo Delivery
Delivered via private gallery. Timeline depends on photographer. Access duration may vary.
11. Pricing & Payments
Prices are shown before booking. Payments are processed securely.
12. Cancellation Policy
Refunds
- 14+ days → full refund (minus fees)
- <14 days → partial refund
- 24h / no-show → no refund
Flexibility
Rescheduling allowed once, subject to availability.
13. Weather Policy
Sessions may proceed in most weather. If not suitable, photographer may suggest alternative.
14. Health & Safety
Clients are responsible for their safety. Travel insurance is recommended.
15. Copyright & Usage
Photographers retain copyright.
Clients receive a personal-use license only. Commercial use requires permission.
Usage Rights
All high-res images can be used for prints, social media, and personal keepsakes forever.
16. Platform Use Restrictions
- Bypass the platform
- Contact outside before booking
You agree not to misuse the platform or use the service unlawfully.
17. Photographer & Third-Party Liability
Photographers are solely responsible for service delivery, conduct, and results. LocalShooters is NOT responsible for photographer actions or third-party services.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify LocalShooters against claims, damages, and legal costs arising from your use of the platform or violations of these terms.
19. Limitation of Liability
LocalShooters is not liable for indirect damages, loss of income, or service issues by photographers. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid.
20. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for events beyond control, including weather, government restrictions, travel disruptions, or natural disasters.
21. Dispute Resolution
Users must attempt resolution first. Disputes governed by applicable jurisdiction.
22. Changes to Terms
Continued use of the platform means you accept updated terms.
